The Nail Tech Event of the Smokies was created because nail techs deserve more than being an afterthought.

.

As a nail tech myself, I grew frustrated spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars traveling to large beauty shows where nail techs often had limited education, fewer exhibitors & little education compared to other beauty professions.

.

I believed ALL nail pros deserved something better, wouldn't you agree?

Since 2008, the Smokies Nail Show has brought nail-focused education, product discovery & professional networking together under one roof in beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee, gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park which is still FREE to explore.

 

Each year, licensed beauty pros travel from across 22 surrounding states (most within a 12 hour driving distance) & Canada to discover new products, learn advanced techniques, solve nail service challenges & connect with fellow nail techs who understand their journey.

Many techs arrive feeling discouraged, overlooked or stuck.

They leave feeling invigorated, renewed & empowered.

More than a trade show, the Smokies has become a nail tech community where lasting friendships are formed & techs, plus nail company owners along with their educators, return year after year to reconnect with their nail family, plus enjoy a tax write-off family vacation or besties road trip for creating memories to last a lifetime.

In 2020 when COVID threatened our nail industry, we remained committed to serving nail techs & became the only pro beauty industry trade show in North America to stay open, plus on schedule, ensuring nail techs still had access to the products, education & support they needed.
