The newer Mills Conference Center is in ORANGE. The entrance faces Historic Nature Trail & is handicapped accessible. The 2013 Event will be held in the larger Mills Auditorium (carpeted).
Common foyers & halls are in PEACH (blueprint above) for both the newer & original section (last photo).
The Classrooms are in GREEN (blueprint above) & are located in the original section of the GCC.
The lower original section is in BLUE (concrete show floor- blueprint above) & has a main front entrance on the Parkway.
*The Event will not be utilizing this lower floor as of yet & other conventions may be occurring simultaneously. Do not enter on the Parkway or you'll have a LONG, winding walk thru corridors & up stairs to get to the Mills Auditorium!
The loading docks with private drive are in WHITE (blueprint above).
*The Event will not be using the lower back loading docks. The GCC is allowing us to load /unload more easily in the Mills Center semi circle turn-around.
Educators should take turns using the 4 designated parking spots, must not block the Trolley turn-around, & should move their vehicle ASAP. A security guard at OUR expense is required by the GCC to supervise all load in & load out processes.
Trolley turn-around must not be blocked! Trolley turn-around is on Historic Nature Trail.
